Surface Calibration Sequence

  1. Lock-On: Hold your mouse perfectly still.
  2. Stiction Breakout: Push the mouse to shatter the Force Shield.
  3. Surface Mapping: Swipe across the canvas to paint a physical heatmap of your pad's kinetic friction.

What is the Topography Heatmap?

Instead of just guessing if your mousepad is dirty, our Calibration Sequence lets you physically "paint" a map of the friction on your pad. As you swipe your mouse, the engine measures your velocity at 1000Hz. Smooth movements paint a beautiful blue/green trail. If the sensor hits a physical slow spot (dead skin, oil, or worn fabric) that causes microscopic stuttering, the trail instantly splatters red. This lets you visually identify exactly where your pad needs cleaning!

The Stiction Breakout Test

Static Friction (Stiction) is the physical force required to break a stationary object out of its resting state. In tactical shooters, high stiction ruins your aim because your mouse "jumps" when you try to make a 1-pixel micro-adjustment.

During the "Breakout" phase of our calibration, we lock a digital force shield around your cursor. We calculate the exact Breakaway Velocity it takes to shatter the shield. A low score means your pad allows for effortless micro-adjustments.
