This tool captures Modifier Keys (Ctrl, Alt, Shift, Meta/Windows) and displays the exact combination being pressed.

How to Use

1. Click inside the test area to focus it.
2. Press any key combination (e.g., Ctrl+Shift+A).
3. The active combo will display in real-time.
4. Modifier badges light up when pressed.

Common Use Cases

• Gaming Binds: Verify your in-game hotkeys are being detected correctly.

Why Shortcuts Fail in Browsers

Some key combinations are reserved by the browser or operating system and never reach the page. That includes many Ctrl, Alt, Meta, and function-key shortcuts used for tabs, search, screenshots, and window controls.

If a combo never appears here, compare it with the Keyboard Test and N-Key Rollover Test. If the single keys work there but not in the combo here, the limitation is usually software capture rather than a broken switch.
